No Foolin' kiddo. I was just whining on Facebook that it's presently 5 pm and 97 degrees in the shade. Been here since '83, and still not comfortable with this heat. :o

There are a lot of Framer's Markets that start early in the morning. It's ALWAYS worth it. Besides everything else, you also get a nice sense of community. Can't get that on the computer. Live a little, sweat a little. Drink lots of water and it's gonna be alright!

Plus you really need to go early in the am anyway....before all the "good" stuff is gone. ie, the fresh baked goods go fast, as does the popular veggies.

check the Times Picayune - they list the days & times of all the local markets. Also, there is the Vietnamese Market every Sat. from 6 am to 9 am at Chef Mentueur and Alcee Fortier Blvd

I am not an early bird. I still shop the farmer's markets.
Sometimes I go in the last 5 minutes.

You'd be amazed at what I get!
