A couple of lunch reviews

Ignatius. No clue why I went in there. It was packed but I was seated quickly. The gumbo is an embarrassment. I think they are going for the Liuzza's By The Track thing but miss the boat entirely. I then had a half Muff toasted. I don't really like Muffs but for some reason the description sounded really good to me. I would actually give it a passing grade. Plenty of meat and the roll was perfectly toasted. Good stuff.

Maple St Cafe. This place was packed and my service was off. It was really loud in there and I couldn't hear over the vuvuzuelas. I attempted to order a special which I thought was black drum with shrimp. Well, I got the shrimp but no black drum. I guess I misheard. Anyway, I am about 75% sure the shrimp were frozen and they were over powered by blackening seasoning. (Ugh). $16 totally not worth it.
