Dining Directory Revised

Some of you may have clicked on the green "D²" in the navigation bar at the top of the forums to find our dining directory of New Orleans and surrounding area restaurants. A newly-rewritten-from-scratch version is now available at the same location, and is (we feel) a bit more straightforward. In addition to "by name" and "by cuisine", users can also view listings grouped by locale or municipality. We've also added a Bar/Nightclub category featuring some of the most popular metro area spots.

Link-outs to Google Maps are now included in each entry. We think this adds even more value, in that, beyond maps, Google also offers such information as nearby/similar establishments, and, occasionally, some user-submitted reviews (for which we obviously offer no endorsement).

Both old and new versions are driven by the same MySQL database, so, for those who prefer the former version, it is still available at:
