Where is Chris Rose?

For several months Gambit listed him as "recovering from surgery"...now nothing.
WVUE has not had his commentaries for a good while...
Anyone know what happened to him?

I got this reply from the editor of Gambit:
"We do not know the status of Chris. We've tried to contact him but have been unsuccessful.'

Then I just got this:
"Update. We heard from Chris. He's been in Maryland taking care of an ailing family member. Don't know his future plans at present.
Gambit Communications"

With all the time he has spent away, I figured I would be getting much better than he delivered last night. What a waste of my time.

Wow, that was awful!
Rose is the only person I know that relocated to NOLA, a city in the south without whose residents don't have a southern drawl, yet seems to somehow have picked up a southern accent? Strange...
I'll be happy to pitch in for a one-way ticket back to MD.
