CAIR Calling On TSA to Restrict Search of Muslim Women

Post by Jerry »

This is going to get interesting.
If the PILOT of the aircraft must be scanned....then everyone should.

I may wear a burqua before I travel on a plane.

Here's the TSA Chief's answer:

TSA chief John Pistole told the Senate Homeland Security Committee on Tuesday that passengers who refuse to go through a full-body scanner machine and reject a pat-down won't be allowed to board, even if they turned down the in-depth screening for religious reasons.

"That person is not going to get on an airplane," Pistole said in response to a question from Sen. John Ensign, R-Nev., on whether the TSA would provide exemptions for passengers whose religious beliefs do not allow them to go through a physically revealing body scan or be touched by screeners.

I can vouch that the pilot community is none too happy with any of this, but then again we were pretty pissed before all of this came about.
IF I didn't already have off Christmas and New Year, I would refuse the full body scan and pat down. Voila! I'm off of the trip (no pay of course) and get to go home.
I could get into other strategies that are being discussed by crewmembers to counter all of this but will refrain.

This will get ugly soon. I feel for those traveling over the holidays.

I am sure there will be at least one "Don't touch my Junk!" sign at the next tea party rally.

I was given the Napolitano treatment before entering court in St. Bernard yesterday morning. I just looked at the sheriff's deputy "like you are kidding me?".

How about a hybrid slogan?

"Don't tase my junk...bro?"
