The Official Independence Day Thread

Post by bam bam »

I voted about 7:00 am at the International School. Plenty of folks there, not good for our Vietnamese congressman. Regardless, I was in and out pretty quick. After I voted, for about ten seconds or so, I had a sense of smug self satisfaction, like I did something significant. I am pretty sure liberals feel that way about themselves all the time. But anyway, it was an interesting experience. Then I realized I had to get to work.

After voting, I drove around a little bit saw plenty of Cao signs. Folks waving. Some good enthusiasm. I called JAG told her I'd cook her a steak tonight if she voted Republican. She's so easy like that.

Anyway, I am in a terrific mood tonight. GOTV to defend liberty and freedom.

Will it just f-cking rain already? I am sick of this c-ck tease. It needs to pour for Cao to have a shot.

I've been doing the rain dance all morning. The more it pours the better our chances.

I thin if it pours and pours now for the rest of the day. Cao has about 50-50 shot.

Cao has about a 10 percent shot. If he'd voted for health care, he'd have a 50 percent shot.

Well, if Richmond wins, I am sure MSNBC will call it a big win for the Dems.

I voted a week ago at the voting machine warehouse on Chef Menteur Hwy and was very surpised at how many people were there (early voting) GASP.....Most of them were black/african american...As shocking to a few people here as that may sound.

That said, Hope Cao wins...
Edited to add, he takes his kids to camp and picks them up! Good dad....

It's New Orleans East, why would that be a surprise to anyone?
