Pan Handling Rates Going Up?

Post by Jerry »

Last week I ran over to the Rouses on Vets (Near Causeway) for some groceries...I ran into the Kmart next door to look for something that I did not find but on the way out...near the corner of the building...an overweight black woman who was sitting on the ground asked me if I have $7.50.

I just ignored her and walked on but thought to myself that that was the most I had ever been panhandled for...

I just can't stand pan-handlers. Especially when they have kids with them. There is some moron who takes a bus and brings a toddler with him to the Winn Dixie in Old Jeff. Then he asks for bus money to get back to the Westbank. I see him get on and off the bus all the time. The last time he tried to beg from me I told him to quit coming over here that we all knew he came there just to beg.

Jerry,

Funny you brought this up. I got pan handled for $27 the other day. It seems our inflationary money policy has even hit the pan handlers.

Any more of this Obama/Bernanke money printing and we may be taking wheel barrows of cash into Rouse's.

I later regretted using her size and race in the post but when I posted it I guess I was using a perpatrator description.
Isn't pan-handling illegal?

I hate the ones who stand at a red light and STARE at you if you dismiss them and refuse to open your window. You're trapped at the light. The guy yesterday on Calliope below the expressway near 1179 was holding a sign: "God's will do it". Huh?

I hate the ones who panhandle with pets. I am not a big fan of Chelsea Handler, but this cracks me up:

"Then a homeless man with a dog approached us and put his hand out. This happens to be something that I have a real problem with: homeless people with pets who approach you for food when they have a perfectly delicious dog standing right there?"
