NFIP not reinstated since June 1
Since the first of June, not only is flood insurance unavailable, those policies that terminate during this period are not renewable. Reinstatement of the National Flood Insurance Program is needed. (This isn't just a coastal issue, as witnessed to the flooding nationwide.) Congress is the source of its unavailability. Contact Congress Now!

new moratorium on drilling, stopping sand berms, no new flood insurance...beginning to think the Feds want to put the entire Gulf region out of business.

Indeed, he's hurting us way more than we know.
“I'm sure when Peyton Manning was growing up he always wanted to throw the TD pass that gave the Saints a Super Bowl win," Jorge Arangure wrote. "Now he has."

I have yet to hear back from those in Congress that I wrote to asking about the reinstatement. Will post an update if someone responds.

"The Senate will not have any votes today (Friday, June 25). This will push the consideration of H.R. 5569 (National Flood Insurance Program Extension Act of 2010) to the week of June 28, 2010."
