Stock Market Fun

Post by Shep »

Nearly every stop I had fired off today, I have not had so much fun since I caught my **** in my zipper. Dow slides nearly a 1000 pts in 10 minutes, asking US to contribute 37 billion to bail out Greece. Unions and govt workers rioting and killing people because they bankrupted their own country. They work half as long as the Germans and want retire at 55 with 30% more income in pensions than the Germans. The Germans do not wish to bail out the Greeks but have to or the euro will fail, so they are pissed. If this senario sounds familiar, it is the wonderful socialist model that the present administration is touting to the American public. Only govt can save us from this crisis which they by the way create. Do not worry, we are only going to tax rich people and pay for everything your heart desires. Watch Greece on the evening news for you will be watching your future, just a different place and a different time.

Did you also see the story where someone made a bad key stroke on a sale and caused a huge cluster fck? A clerk at Citi ment to type in million and typed in billion on a sell. They think it was for Proctor and Gamble which dropped $17 in seconds.
This is what caused alot of the panic sell today.

I was stuck in traffic until after 2, I've never seen anything like it before and I've been around a long time. Some people made a lot of money on that dip, we always keep buys "good til canceled" at really low prices that went off automatically and then was sold within minutes. I am stuck in traffic coming from the Montleone, cursing while on the cell phone. Oh well , **** happens, I leave for Florence tom morning for 10 days so life is not all bad.

Shep, have a great time in Florence. If you have time, try to make it to San Gimignano. (about 1:15 minutes away from Florence) It may be a bit touristy but not nearly as bad as some other Italian towns.

Either way, I know you will have a great time! Happy Trails!
