Boneless Chicken Breasts
I enjoyed Jerry's thread on pork loins so much I thought I'd start one on chicken breasts. I'm always looking for something new to do to them, and they are supposed to be healthy. (sigh) Not too long ago, JAG suggested a marinade of EVOO, crushed garlic, lemon juice and Greek seasonings. Cut them in...

Re: Cafe East Disappointment
Jesse, I agree with dragongrl, you're very patient. I've never been impressed with the place.
Re: Pancho's
ratcheese, I may have occasion to be traveling through Texas soon, if so, may I contact you for recommendations? Not just for places to eat, but what to order?
Re: Pancho's
ratcheese, I've never had the privilege of eating texmex, but I'd love to. After the storm, I made it a personal crusade to stop at every 'taco truck' I saw and buy something. I was usually the only non-Mexican there. I loved every single thing I ever ordered. And since I don't know WHAT to order, a...

Re: I detest asparagus...
LOL who remembers this badly misquoted statement by George Bush Sr.? "I hate broccoli, I'm the president of the United States and I don't have to eat it." lol.
I love most veggies, but I realized a few years ago that hey, I'm an ADULT. I can eat what I like!

Re: Pancho's
You know, I find this whole phenom incredible. I went to the old place twice I think as a teen... and found it dirty... even the food as I recall was gritty. LOL, and now we have this wonderful influx of great Mexican food... cheap and delicious! In a city well known for it's wonderful food.... and ...

Giada's Roasted Asparagus with Rosemary
It's too simple for words, and probably not a surprise to anyone but me, lol. I saw Giada last week, and I had some fresh asparagus in the fridge. Line a jellyroll pan with aluminum foil, then drizzle olive oil... rotate the pan until the EVOO is evenly distributed, but thin layer.... wash and clip ...

Re: Pork Loin: What Else To Do With It???
This thread is worth it's weight in gold, thanks to everyone who has contributed!! I love pork, but shy away from the loins just because if I cook the whole thing, well.. unless I'm feeding a small country.... it goes to waste. Pork is very tricky to warm over... but so delicious when cooked fresh. ...
