Oh a steak sounds wonderful...sigh. I am home by myself and have spent the better part of a lovely day doing yard work on an acre plus of grass and shrubs. Just came in and had some cold fried rice and a glass of wine. Too tired to bother with anything I had to cook.

I have used the Alton Brown recipe many times and it is wonderful - so much better than the catsup version...

Mea culpa…my mistake….Tom Tom Club as a group and its eponymic first album were begun by Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth in 1981.

Does anyone remember a group called "Toxic Shock Syndrome"? I don't remember their music but that name always cracked me up...

The Tom Tom Club was kind of fun - it was Tina Weymouth from the Talking Heads and some other female musicians. They had a few nice songs.

Funny horror flicks…ah, I like a few of those too…Ed and his Dead Mother, Bubba Ho-Tep and Army of Darkness are all very watchable and good for a laugh. Then there is Humanoids from the Deep, it was not intended to be funny – it was just so very bad that it was.
