Re: Gulf Aid Concert

I like th lineup at the outdoor stage better than the indoor one. John Legend doesn't do much for me and neither does Anni DiFranco.

I can't get in either. I do know he deleted one of my posts over the weekend. I had taken a shot at 504Terry for his contstant trouble making.

Re: So what is your specialty?

er the results of the boston butt I cooked for mothers day, I am almost ready to claim that as a specialty. 14 hours on hickory and oak, temps between 300 and 200 (I slept for a while and these were cooked overnight, so it was hotter when I went to bed and a llittle cooler when I got up). They were ...

Re: So what is your specialty?

Wow, good question. I cook the best steaks I have had, but that is so easy. I love to make a good meat and tomato sauce with pasta. I also do great stuff with big scallops. As I think about this, I don't have a specialty. Damn it. Now I need to find one. Quickly. I am not happy about this realizatio...

Re: already feeling the effects of the spill

Kinda like the way you and your ilk blamed Bush for everything. It is pretty clear that Obama flush with BP's campaign cash took a hands off approach the containment of the oil spill and never activated the plan put in place to mitigate the disaster. But other than that, he's done a bang up job. I ...

Re: Now that Pearl Jam has played Jazzfest...who

Always a great live act. I would love to see thm play in front of a really large crowd, who was not familar with their music. They blow away most any act touring these days. Especially the acts at Jazzfest. I applaud some of the bookings (Dead Weather, Steel Pulse, Steve Martion, Old Crow Medicine S...

Re: Jazz Fest

Arethat is a cancel. Because of the oild spill? That is a lame excuse. I am not going anyway. I did go yesterday, and while I had a great time, I am almost ready to offically say that I am "over" jazzfest. My kids love it and will fill my shoes, but I can't see me going out more than two d...

I brought home two pizzas to go from Tower of Pizza Monday. Great pie, even after a 40 minute ride home.

Re: JaMarcus Eats Himself Out of the League

Obviously at this point, a huge bust. No doubt about that. He should have remained in college another year (instead of holding out and wasting a year). I still say he thew the prettiest/most accurate deep ball I ever saw. Bad situation in Oakland, exacerbated by a bad attitude and no work ethic on h...
