My son grew papaya trees from seeds he brought back from Brazil. The trees grew about 16' high ( in 1 season) with numerous arms. They produced hundreds of fruits, many too high to harvest with a ladder. The fruit was huge, easily 11'. We didn't save any seeds but lo and behold, volunteer trees shot...

Last winter killed my pepper tree. It had previously been evergreen. I have not seen it in any nurseries. It grew about 4 1/2 feet tall and produced thousands of tiny, killer hot peppers. Are you referring to Szechuan peppercorns? I ordered online but locally, try WF, Hong Kong Market or any Oriental grocery.
