Re: White Burgundy

I've had the Les Charmes Macon-Lugny and the Ardeche by Latour. Good stuff, but I'm going a different direction on this. I went to a white Burgundy tasting at Martin's @ 20 years ago. (Wow..I'm old.) It was an entirly different level of crispness in a white wine. A certain flintiness...... minerally...

Re: Stone Beer

I had the Arrogant Bastard tonight. That is one special brew, but wouldn't want it all the time. So intense, would blow out my taste buds. You gotta try it though.

I walked around a bit and was very impressed with the vendors and artisans. What a really cool market. I had a pulled pork sammich from a booth that was excellent. Th...

Re: Duluth anyone?

There is a real nice boardwalk along the lake. Pretty nice to take a walk. You may be able to rent a bike from a nearby hotel, if you're into that sort of thing. There is a mall/shopping center there with a nice pub. Don't remember the name thought but there was lots of good beer. That's all I got.

Re: Best Non Food Cities for Foodies

Atlanta. Here's a few great restaurants. Two Urban Licks. Very cool place. It's one of many restaurants the Concentrics Rest. Group owns. Very creative on the design, too. Canoe is also very good. It's a bit out of the way, so plan on getting a cab if you really want to go there. Not so far out of t...
