I've never had a less-than-excellent experience at DBSH. Are you sure about that competitor's lower price point assertion? DB's regular menu has some very attractively-priced options. It sounds like you came away quite satisfied.

I would say as long as they are no more "adult" (read: crude or patently offensive) than you would tell a group of, say, people you just met, or new customers at your place of business, for example.

Just think, you could develop a reputation for being "colorful". You could say things like, "Let me consult briefly with my associate about that." And then you ask the dog a question, and pretend that he replies.
