When you convert your phone to Uverse, by the way, it becomes VOIP (or however you say that). We had no trouble with our alarm system, and there was no extra charge.

If you have access to ATT Uverse, go for it. We switched a year ago and have been very happy - not to mention saving a lot of money by having phone, TV and internet. I'm very pleased with all of it, especially the internet speed. The TV package includes the DVRs, and HD service - considerably cheape...

We switched from AllState to Progressive a couple of years ago and have been very happy with them. We're saving several hundred a year. We switched because AllState was such a pig after the storm.
