Re: Tom's board is gone.

Jeeves: I don't know who C is, but I did not ask them. I actually had stopped at the Rouse on Belle Chasse Hwy to get on steamed, but the fish dude said the steamer crapped out. So, I headed to HKM to grab one there. I thought about asking, but did not. Just brought it home and berled it for 20 min....

Went yesterday to get Lobsters from the absolute freshest tanks in town. They have a couple thousand gallons of lobster tanks, with extremely fresh lobsters. Majority medium, with some very large, and a few small mixed in. They were very small, and extremely salty when they were serving the Apalachicola a few weeks/months back. These were very fresh, I hit them with a dash from salt shaker and they were fine. They come in a box, D.A. Fox, who has many be...

Interesting! I caught Rick Bayless' show on WYES few weeks back where he was in Mexico, and he showed the enormous chiccharones being prepared by the street vendors. Even hung them up as yours were. Looked very interesting! Made me wish I was there for a taste! The party sounds really fun! Great pos...

Great casual dinner tonight. Started with the Petite salad for the wife and I, followed by the Moules Frites for me with the wine/cream sauce. Wife, as usual, had the strip steak. A bottle of Penfolds served well. We had opportunity to chat with the owners at great length, as there was one other tab...
