I have never been a big fan of the "get in line to order then go sit down and wait til your name is called" restaurant style. If it is a fast-food style burger joint like Bud's Broiler or an actual cafeteria then it is OK. It is even worse when there is nothing to indicate to the customer ...

Cajun bouillabaisse with redfish, speckled trout, crawfish, and lump crabmeat. Served with bread pudding and bourbon sauce. Delicious!

On Sunday, I smoked baby back ribs with homemade rub over pecan wood. Sides were corn bread, watermelon, and Angelo Brocato's lemon ice. All of that was accompanied by a six pack of Heiner Brau Marzen.
