Stay the hell out of AMERICAN politics.
You are mistaken; Neil has been an American citizen for over 30 years now.

Maybe you should stay the hell out of a Neil Young thread until you have something worthwhile to contribute.

Re: Evacuees in Alabama

MM is a chain out of Atlanta. They have recently popped up all along the Gulf Coast (Ocean Springs, Gulf Shores, Destin, Panama City, etc.), so I'm hoping a NOLA location can't be too far off. My first MM pizza experience was in Baton Rouge and it's one of my favorite pizza chains. As far as evac fo...

I consider Crazy Horse an American band. Neil has been an American citizen for over 30 years now and all of his band mates are from here as well.

I'll also add Guns and Roses to the list even though their flame burned out too quickly.

For NoNoNanette, Mrs. Fury, and Turbodog (and of course everyone else that may be curious).

More than you ever wanted to know about Chuck Negron, pretty much the worst story ever:

Re: Best Three Man Band

Anyone else remember Triumph? :) Can't argue with any of thre bands already listed, those are all favorites of mine. I will provide my opinion for the best CURRENT 3-piece band: Rose Hill Drive . Three kids from Colorado that are just amazing players. They are also Pete Townsend's favorite new band,...

Re: Best Band Ever

Pelican Six, you must have been reading my mind. Hands down, the Rolling Stones are greatest ever IMO, for all of the reasons listed (and many more). You cannot deny the Mick Taylor-era of the Stones, all of that stuff is right up there with the best stuff the Beatles have ever done. Also, check out...

Re: Best Rock Guitar Solo Ever

Hence the wink at the end of my post. ("Note-for-note". Get it?) I got what you were saying Low and Slow, my comment was more for the fact that Cinnamon Girl actually shows up at #158 on the list in Admin's link. My comment about Elliot Easton was in no may meant to be a dig on his playin...

Re: Best Rock Guitar Solo Ever

And there it is! Amazing stuff, Strat vs. Les Paul!!!! Thanks Admin, that was very cool to see. Weird seeing Gary Moore sing that song though. Here are some further thoughts on BRGSE: The list provided by Admin is yet another to totally ignore Joe Walsh as a solo artist, as well as a member of The J...
