San Francisco Herb Co. http://www.sfherb.com
Lots of very cool stuff there. A 1 oz bottle is in the $3.00 range, and there may be a minimum order. I don't see how you could not find some other great stuff to buy.

Wine for Thanksgiving
Does anyone have a suggestion for wines to drink with a traditional Thanksgiving dinner (other than Nouveau Beaujolais)?
There must be some interesting whites like PNW Gewertztraminers and Rieslings. And for reds, perhaps a velvety Pinot Noir?
I'm all ears. Thanks.

Re: Which would you choose?
You'll have a great experience at MiLa, I'm sure. I was there recently with the Misses and another couple. The service could not have been better. Without sounding like a food snob, the entire dinner was supurb. Everyone really enjoyed their dinner. I could eat the scallops every day. Wow. One of th...

Re: Gift for Jewish man
This man has access to more wine than most of us can imagine, and thanks JAG, but no way on the coffee. Gift certificate is a nice idea. I just want it to be respectful and thoughtful.
This is an odd question isn't it?

Gift for Jewish man
I know that you don't give a Christmas gift to a Jewish man, but I want to give a Holiday gift to one. He probably lacks for nothing. What do you think he would appreciate that's food related?
Thanks,

Re: Free coffee at Starbucks on Nov 4th
I have a better idea. How about you go to a locally-owned coffeehouse and say "I could've gotten a free coffee at Starbuck's today, but decided to help the local economy by coming here!" Sorry, I AM biased. Just sayin'.

Re: In My Club Two Heterosexual men can share off the same plate
I'm not going to judge what any two OTHER men do, but I wouldn't do it. Not with my father, brother, cousin, friend or my own son. If I were to share an entree with another man, I'll tell the waiter to bring another plate. Then again, I wouldn't do it with any woman on the planet either, except my l...
