Two former Le Foret chefs - I went early, and had an excellent meal from start to finish. STEAMED MUSSELS were fabulous, and far better than the ones I had at Clementine a week or so therafter. I am in the minority, but I have found that almost every dish (other than the sliders) is a wierd modificatyion on what you expect, and not for the better. Others will tell you differently, but I would skip American Sector

I have been to an event they catered, and it was also quite good. The reason to go isn't just the food, however, it's the good cause they serve.

Too bad about Kobayashi. His legacy is tarnished. Wrong analogy - this situation is far more akin to Don King and his boxers. Major League Eating told Kobayashi he could only compete if he agreed to be a part of their sanctioned events The owners of MLE are the bad guys in this situation, not Kobay...
