I know humor can be VERY subjective, often I am the only one NOT laughing in the movie theater, I really enjoyed "Sideways" but I remember everyone A HA ing but me:confused:.
The Jerk is my all time favorite "makes me laugh" movie, most recently it was "Trailer Park Boys"
Any suggestions?
"Trailer Park Boys"
Never heard of it. Is it like a white version of Boyz in da Hood?

Young Frankenstein, Animal House, the original Airplane, and the Hot Shots series. Then there was the Peter Sellers Pink Panther series as well.

I thought that BORAT was a real kick in the arse! Juvenile? Yep! Hysterical? Indeed!
Also love Johnny Knoxville and the "Wild Boys" stuff.... Steve-O and Chris Pontius make me laugh out loud. :)

Tootsie was my favorite of all time. I also liked the Jerk, Airplane, and the two English comedies Hot Fuzz and Sean of the Dead.
Forgetting Sarah Marshall was fun too.
Goin' South starring and directed by Jack Nicholson. Also Mary Steenburgen's big screen debut.
Strange Brew, Caddyshack, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Rush Hour series..

Thanks for the replies!
Alex, I did not know until after I saw the movie, Trailer Park Boys was/is a Canadian tv show, the main characters in the movie created and wrote everything.
This is the movie trailer, hope the link works:

I have a weird sense of humor and really don't like what most of my friends think is hilarious, such as slapstick or bathroom humor-- like most of the crap that comes out of Hollywood these days. I can't STAND Will Ferrel, Jim Carrey, John Candy(I know he's dead, but his movies sucked anyway), any of those Police Academy movies, Airplane's, etc.
I really like British humor and think the Absolutely Fabulous series is HILARIOUS!(they did make a "movie", so this should count). Also liked The Last Supper, Drop Dead Gorgeous(gotta love when Denise Richards is dancing with a rolling Jesus), The Sweetest Thing, Shaun of the Dead.....that's all I can think of right now
Bringing Up Baby, What's Up Doc?, Paper Moon, Caddyshack, Animal House, The Holy Grail, The Meaning Of Life, Operation Petticoat. Too many to remember!

I think that Will is one of those guys that you either LOVE or HATE. Honestly, I just look at the guy and get a big smile on my face. His new sidekick, John C. Reilly (????) is growing on me too. The guy was on Jay Leno last night promoting their new movie, Stepbrothers. Looks like a real hoot.

Suzy,
My daughter has been after us for a couple of years to watch "The Big Labowski" and "The Office".
LOL... hilarious, both of 'em. The Office is a kid's movie, I think (but don't take my word on that before watching it with your son, I don't watch movies anymore with that "eye").... but it's really cute. My daughter and I even joined a Facebook group called "My Red Swingline".
I also thought "Little Miss Sunshine" was a scream.
Going back to when dinosaurs roamed the earth... I STILL laugh till I can't catch my breath at "The Money PItt" when Tom Hanks falls through the floor of that old home.

E and The Comedy Channel show much edited versions.
I have the DVD with "extra flair"

I watched "Deck the Halls" yesterday. Danny Devito and Mathew Broderick, both of whom I love.
That might be one of the funniest movies that I've ever seen. I was literally laughing out loud during many scenes.
It's certainly become my favorite Christmas movie. Currently playing on one of the premium channels.... Starz, perhaps. Check it out. :)
Made me think of "A Christmas Story" which is another one.
"Clerks" is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. I especially like Jay and Silent Bob.

I think I know those guys.... they were in a movie with Alaniss Morrisette who played "God". ???? Maybe Ben Affleck and Matt Damon were in it, too? (Played Angels)....
The one guy is a real stoner?
I'll have to check out "Clerks"... :)

The Survivors with Robin Williams and Walter Matheau is a good one to rent if you have never seen it. You laugh all the way through. Also The Sunshine Boys is a good one as well.

When I was quite young, I still laughed my ass off to California Suite (without checking, I seem to remember Jane Fonda and Walter Matthau).
Scavenger Hunt was a classic, too.

Really? I'm surprised with all the F*cks and sexual innuendo (The O' Face?). I mean sure, it isn't a Quentin Tarantino movie for sex and violence, but I wouldn't take my 9 year old to see it! What version did you watch? It is a hilarious movie, I agree, but definitely not a kids movie.

Show that movie to your children and they will never go into the workforce - LOL.

In the genre of black comedy I always thought that "Pulp Fiction" was pretty funny.
A more recent film similar to PF is "In Bruges". Good film and an excellent performance by Jeremy Irons. (And for the ladies it stars Colin Farrell)

Funny horror flicks…ah, I like a few of those too…Ed and his Dead Mother, Bubba Ho-Tep and Army of Darkness are all very watchable and good for a laugh. Then there is Humanoids from the Deep, it was not intended to be funny – it was just so very bad that it was.

Does anyone fondly remember the farce about the Coca Cola Company in Germany - ONE, TWO, THREE?
I saw it years ago, but it hasn't "reappeard" on TV, etc.
