In line at 0550, in the car at 0620. It was a party while waiting though. Very good natured people! We applauded the first voter when he came out. One machine down (out of two) for the other precinct that votes in my location. It went down within the first couple of minutes. DH voted at 1000 and was second in line.

I went at 12:30 just to check out the lines, figuring it would be horrible, planned on going back at 3:00 when people were picking up kiddies at school. Much to my surprise, there was no one in line, I walked up and it was just me. When I left, one minute later two people were walking up.

I voted up here in VERY rural Arkansas...about 2:30 this afternoon. There were about 9 people in front of me. The guy directly in front of me looked like Moses in overalls and drove up on a riding lawn mower...a change from New Orleans for sure!!!!

Thanks Louisana for your votes. Good McCain State.

But the Kool Aid drinkers have screwed us royally.

Welcom to the SSA - Socialist States Of America! :covri:

Louisiana was the state with the least percentage of Obama votes. Very Red State. My home state of Maine on the other hand....

I waited in line almost 30 minutes this morning at 6am, but the line hadn't moved in that time, I mean no one, no one voted in that first half hour...so I left, I had to work....I left work for a break around 7pm and went to vote and got right back to work in Metry, round trip with voting, less than 45 minutes. There were two people voting when I went at 7something, it took me longer to sign in than it did to vote.

It wasn't very suprising that the voting was messed up this morning....I live in Betty Jefferson's district so nothing works correctly. Ignorance is bliss for the ignorant!

We did what we could here, and if Obama crashes and burns we will do it again in four years, if we are still have the freedom to vote.
