It ain't cheap. At most poker tournaments, you are given a comp to buffet with your entry. This is fine as the dinner break at most tourneys is only an hour at the most and you really don't have time to have a leisurely 4 course meal. Well, at the world's worst casino (Harrah's NOLA) they don't even give you a comp. You get a coupon. And it was still like an additional $15 to eat at the buffet.
I don't think at the WSOP Circuit in May, they even bothered with the buffet comp. We went to Grand Isle for our subpar meal.

Bam Bam, do you not like Cafe Adelaide or Ernst? Just curious.

I am huge Ernst fan. But ya gotta remember in the heat of a poker tourney the obvious doesn't always come to mind. And you don't have enough time to do Adelaide during the dinner break.

I love Ernst. Ever get served by the Sally Field look alike? She's great. I was told today U.S. Prime Steakhouse (Tchoup & Laf) is opening soon. My source says they claim to be the best. We shall see....

If it's 275 at Harrah's, it has to be 350 at Boomtown. I haven't eaten there in years, but I was physically ill watching these hogs pack it in. They couldn't even fit on the chairs.
