Following the visit of BHO, The Jerusalem Post printed a great editorial:

The audacity of resume-padding (or, why Obama makes things up)
Abraham Katsman and Kory Bardash , THE JERUSALEM POST

Highlights:

...his résumé is, so to speak, paper-thin.
...has held some major job titles which are noteworthy...yet, in spite of these prestigious positions, Obama has increasingly resorted to making claims of accomplishment that are so patently inflated even his cheerleaders at CNN and the New York Times are taking notice.
...has spent years coasting on charisma without doing any heavy work.
...he pads his résumé--stretching the truth here, stealing credit there, and creating the illusion of achievement.
...told that Obama "passed laws" that "extended healthcare for wounded troops"...The 2008 Defense Authorization Bill, which passed by a 91-3 vote...six Senators did not vote-including Obama.
...his claim of "twenty years of public service"...the numbers don't add up.
...completed over half a Senate term, yet, is there even one signature issue he has taken hold of other than his own presidential run?
...he's treated his offices as if they were high school student council positions-fun to run for, fun to win, affirmations of popularity, heady recognition from superiors, good resume-builders.

What I find hilarious is that Obama has been quite successful positioning himself as this cultish, messianic candidate who is beyond things like having a record of accomplishment. However, now that McCain has upped the ante by selecting Palin, a real person (who like does stuff) as his Veep, Obama has to cite things in his record like managing his campaign, helping welfare mothers apply for food stamps, etc, which seem, well fairly pedestrian. Only a barracuda could bring Obama down from the clouds.

The jujitzu of McCain's pick of Palin is brilliant. Now you have the Dem POTUS candidate comparing resumes with the GOP VP pick. And the fence sitting wimmin like her as well as the red meat conservatives. It is painful to watch all these so called feminists on the left make points about whether she can take care of her family and have a political career. Not to mention the line about how can she be a VP if she can't control her daughter. Where was all this tut tutting when Al Gore's son was doing his 100 mph homage to Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas in his Prius on the San Diego Freeway? Or that she is an unqualified token. Project much?
Meanwhile she has a real, and interesting, family. I bet people vote for her just to see what happens when the VP wife of a half eskimo snow machine racer and his family move into the Naval Observatory or wherever the VP lives. Sounds like a sitcom or a reality pitch.

And I also like the naughty librarian vibe. It's +5% points when she lets her hair down and shakes it out.

Now go slowly, I'm an old man and I want to follow your logic...

...are you calling the Biden family hillbillies, or...

...are you admitting that the Republicans are going to win?
