Ohio St is getting a surprising amount of props thus far in the preseason. To the extent, where one commentator said last season's loss to LSU wasn't that bad. It was a close game. (I am not sure which game is he was watching.) I have also seen several prognosticators say that OSU will beat USC on Sept 13. So the question I posit is this. Can a one loss Ohio St team be selected for the BCS Championship Game without an outrage.
USC is going to spank them and go undefeated as will Oklahoma, so a one loss OSU is going to be primed for another BCS bowl game ass kicking at the hands of either Georgia/Florida/LSU.
Seriously, after they get by OSU, USC has a cake walk.

Good question. I'd say it's a possibility. SEC teams always destroy one another during the season, so it is unlikely one of them will emerge undefeated this year.
That being said, if GA/Fla/Aub/LSU/whoever comes out of the SEC with just one loss and your scenario, I doubt that the SEC team won't get the nod over a OSU team already beaten by undefeated USC.
I just read something about Mcknight and Sanchez(qb) both being banged up and there is a chance they will not play against Ohio St.
Mcknight can be replaced quite easily, but if Sanchez can't go, USC might me in trouble for this game.
Then I would have to revise my prediction of Oklahoma playing OSU in the championship game while a one loss USC/Georgie/Florida sits at home going ape **** about playing second fiddle to OSU.

Mitch Mustain (remember him?) will replace Sanchez for SC. He has a stronger arm but maybe not the same command of the offense. If SC is going to have problems, it will be on both interior lines.
