Hey, guys.... (Administrator)
Don't want to offend you, but-
My inbox is being taken over by goofy online casino emails. Have you sold my addy? :( This is something new, and I can only assume it's coming from this site.

Why would you assume that?
From our Privacy Statement:
NOLAEATS.COM has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate its firm commitment to privacy. As a general rule, NOLAEATS.COM will never, ever share your name, e-mail address, or other private information with anyone else. We never have, and we never will. That's a promise.
Are they tied to sports gambling sites? This is the time of the year that they start their major push. I have recieved three flyers via postal mail this week.

Honestly, BTG:
I didn't even open 'em. It's alot of "online poker/blackjack/blah, blah, blah tips".... win big now, blah, blah, blah.
I guess that it's a coincidence.

WHY would I assume that?
Because I've never been flooded with such emails in the past, I've spent a considerable amount of time on this site's casino area, and it's just THIS addy that I use here that is being affected by this rubbish.
Glad it's not you. As I said initially, I didn't mean to offend.

There's no way for what you do or say here to be connected to your email address, which is never publicly visible, not even by your choice. If it was us selling addresses, it would mean we took the time to provide other specific info along with each address, like "See this guy paz here, spam him about bagels". I don't think spammers actually pay enough per individual email addresses, when and if they do, to make it worth someone's while to personalize each one for them. Your patronizing an online casino and then getting casino spam would more likely indicate some sophisticated form of spyware on your PC that also has visibility to your email client.

Casino spam would actually be a refreshing change from the damn endless Vi@&ra spam. :crap:

Thank you for the feedback, friends.... just a goofy coincidence, I guess. :)

Run your anti spyware at least ever two weeks. It's just good practice.
After being left out of this type of spam for years (and feeling neglected), I now have relatives dying all over the world, and lotteries I've won, particularly Nigeria and U.K., which have left me huge winnings they are trying to get to me. On paper I'm worth a billion. :D
