Besides oyster, shrimp is the only other kind I really get (one every few months), who do you think has the best, and why do you like it so much? Thanks.....

I had a very satisfying half & half shrimp/oyster po-boy at Come Back Inn last week. So satisfying, in fact, that either half, along with the accompanying onion rings, would have sufficed as a meal unto itself.

Although it's been a long time since I've had a Danny & Clyde's shrimp po-boy, I do recall that, althought the shrimp were somewhat small, their sheer numbers were such that those which fell out onto the wrapping paper were often enough to make another half sandwich.

Zimmer's Seafood at Mirabeau and St. Anthony makes what I think is the best fried shrimp po-boy in town.

Joan's Special at Radosta's. Shrimp sauteed in butter and herbs served on warmed French bread with pan juices.

The shrimp had to be 8-12 count, and were perfectly prepared

Sammy's Deli on Elysian Fields. They use whole FRESH shrimp that are usually so big that they have to cut them up to fry them. It's a really good sandwich.
