Wondering how you guys feel about this.... it's certainly caused a media uproar if nothing else.

Personally, I think that Terry Jones dude is a nutcase.... as probably are his flock of 50. (That being said, I'm not too fond of any organized religion)

But.... I hope that he sticks to his guns on this. I believe that it is a FREE SPEECH issue. I don't believe that this will make extremist muslims hate us any more than they already do.

What makes the Quran off limits? Bibles can be burned....American flags can be burned.... crucifixes can be urinated on.... etc.

I'll be curious to see if the dude backs down. (I'm also guessing that his flock will pick up some new members)

Listen up. I will never be lower than that piece of crap. I agree with everything that you said. I just have a way to cut to the chase. He is in that wonderful group of souls that are members of "KILLING FOR JESUS" I don't think nice things about people like him. i dont get the attention focused on this guy or the nyc mosque. this is all a sideshow from the govt and msm to keep us from looking at how the country is going down the tubes. instead of focusing on the problems with the congressional front runner in n.o. Florida Rev. Terry Jones said he is cancelling the planned burning of the Quran and instead flying to New York on Saturday to meet with Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the man behind the planned New York mosque.

"We have agreed to cancel our event on Saturday and on Saturday I have agreed to meet with the Imam," Jones said Thursday.

He said he decided to cancel his protest because the leader of a planned Islamic Center near ground zero has agreed to move its controversial location. The agreement couldn?t be immediately confirmed.
