Just wanted to let all you casual males, and ladies with laid-back gents know that we saw selected Pusser's Island Reserve 100% silk Hawaiian shirts on sale today at Dilllard's for 75% off "original price" of $110. That's $27.50. Also, selected 55/45 linen/rayon R&Y Caribbeans at 50% off original price of $65, or $32.50. Mahalo!

Oooo nice.... thanks, nolaeats! My husband and I were zipping thru' Lakeside yesterday too.... (what were we thinking??!!) It was sooo hot.... soooo crowded...
Anyhoo... speaking of hot... are they? The silk shirts that is?
Speaking of Lakeside... it really was a hassle getting in and out. Talk about over-building! Once Macy's opens it's going to be a nightmare. But I love Macy's.... sigh....

The 100% rayon ones have what most consider the "silkiest" feel. They didn't appear to be on sale. The linen/rayon ones have a feel quite like just linen, while the 100% silk ones are like "linen light" in texture and feel. They're both cool and breathe well.

I have $50 in gift certificates to Lakeside that I will probably bring to my grave considering my aversion to malls.

I'm with ya there. Internet shopping, boutique shopping, or shopping in Dallas.

I wonder if you could use them at PF Changs? If my 15 yo daughter had them, the ink wouldn't even be dry before she used them....;)

Love the Hawaiian style shirts, but not for the reason you might think. For informal situations, these long shirts, worn outside the pants, ideally cover my CCW holster, even when the shirt is unbuttoned. ;)

Lakeside has been eaten by that forboding gray dinosaur like structure. I tell myself the mall is gone.
I do like J Crew, Banana Republic and a few other stores, but I HATE CROWDS and bright lights, the best time to go is RIGHT before, or when they open, even on a weekend, that is when it is the least crowded....And I only enter by Dillard's or JC Penney because that other entrance is SCARY.....

I wonder if I can use my gift certificates on line....anyone know? Seriously, I will never go there. I don't go to malls. If I can't buy it online and have it delivered to my door...then I'll just go to Europe and pick it up my own damn self. :p

Maybe we could auction off some of these gift cards we have.
I've had a PF Chang's one for a while.
Heck, I've had several WF & Eddie Bauer ones. I just never think to use them.
Please, just give me cash or one to MY favorite restaurant.
If you mention a restaurant & I say I've NEVER been there, it's because I'm not really all that interested!

Well, crap. I just put on one of my Pusser's Island Reserve bargains for the first time, and realized it has no pocket! Where the heck am I going to put my nerd pack, and my flip-up shades? The things we put up with in the name of fashion.

Maybe I could give y'all credit for those mall gift certificates at my store...on some Volatiles or something.
PM me if interested.
