less than impressed with dinner the other night. not sure if the A/C was broken, but it felt like I was eating outside on a very "close" night. while service wasn't tragic, it wasn't seamless.

ordered:
Seared Scallops atop a Roasted Eggplant & Garlic Confit served
with a Huckleberry & Balsamic Vinegar Reduction
I really enjoyed this dish; tasted like more...much more.

Tamarind Glazed Alaskan Halibut in a Wild Mushroom Broth
served with Sunchokes & Grilled Baby Bok Choy
the halibut was too flaky without any firmness; same for my friend's order of the halibut. we both could have done without the bok choy as well. the sunchokes were more tasting of raw potato rather than being crisp and nutty.

Dessert was a mighty fine creme brulee.

Not sure if I'd go back, as it was just okay.

I love this place and have eaten there 3-4 times. Maybe you just got an off night. I suggest you give them another chance.

don't know; but I do know a fellow frequent diner who suffered the same recently.

Help me to understand how 2+2= ... 1?
