After telling friends how good the roast beef po-boys are at Joe Sepie's I picked up three with orders of the onion rings. The onion rings were great, but the roast beef had no flavor, no garlic flavor, no salt and pepper flavor and the meat was stringy and tough. Really a big surprise, they were so good every other time I have been there. :confused:Any idea why?

I don't know, but I would call and let Pete know about that.

hmmm...that has not been my experience w/their roast beef...that said, there are 3 different roast beef po boys on the menu...maybe you got something other than what you had previously ordered...not that it excuses what you did eat.

Tell the owner about it. He's very open to suggestions. He did tell me that he had changed a couple of his recipes because people had complained about the use of too much thyme. Just tell him..he would want to know.

I happened to see the owners wife yesterday afternoon and I relayed the information regarding this thread to her, and she was very apologetic and asked me for more info. I copied the original message and emailed it to her, along with the date and time of posting so they can pinpoint who was preparing the roasts at that time. She was very concerned and assured me that Pete would take action immediately.
