As will Doc Jensen.... I love this guy's stuff and spend entirely too much time on his blog on "the morning after".

I am finding that these first two eps are not as intense as last season, but that is probably because they are setting us up for something big.

I am hoping that the confluence of the two stories/timelines will be mind blowing!

One thing really jumped out at me, gang...

Sayed (???) would not have whined like a baby by being tortured. He's a changed "man".....

I was originally thinking that he'd be "JACOB" (Good) vs. "LOCKE" (Evil Smoke Monster), but now I'm wondering.

Also... (horrid at names), but Jack's half-sister/Australian broad/Aaron's mom looked ROUGH at the end. She's got the same "infection" as Sayed.....

I think she might be the (again, horrid at names :) ) French broad who had been on the island....

Creepier and creepier! Love it!

OK, that is what I have been waiting for! The Substitute was an awesome episode. I just got a chance to watch it last Sunday night. I am loving what they are doing with the ones in L.A.! I am eagerly anticipating tonight's show, but fear I am to busy to watch it. I love TIVO, since I am up to my neck in earning industry certifications and learning new technology so I can reenter the job market. My life is all about Windows Server 2008 and VMware these days. :shootself:

Firstly, I LOVED last night's "Richard" episode. LOVED it.

But, they got alot of explaining to do! Thought you might like this piece from Vanity Fair.

Here's a partial excerpt:

.....Jacob may not be evil, but he's kind of a dick.

The kind of dick who sums up the entire show with a metaphor about a bottle of wine: the wine is Hell, he says, and the island is the cork, "the only thing keeping the darkness where it belongs." Let me get that straight: Remember the polar bear? Remember the numbers entered into the computer in the hatch? Remember the DHARMA Initiative? Remember the time traveling? None of that actually mattered...... :D

I am still waiting for them to drop the non linear bomb on us. If the island was underwater as 815 flew over it not crashing, what does that say about the island's ability to act as a "cork". And exactly when did that take place, as in what order. Did 815 not crash first, then crash because Jacob needed it to? He built the airstrip for the Ajira flight just in time. Where are Desmond and Eloise Hawking? I get the feeling the show hasn't finished messing with space/time yet.

I am enjoying the heck out this show. The episode about Richard confirmed a lot about what I suspected. That was probably the best episode of TV I have seen so far this year.

T.V. is starting to get good again, Lost is hitting on all cylinders, Breaking Bad is back on and so far so good, and Deadliest catch will be coming on soon. I do not know what I will do in the fall; the only fall show I watch is Sons of Anarchy.

Even some of the generic shows on broadcast TV are a little better then usual.

It only ends once.

I was relatively satisfied with the ending. I was not overwhelmed, but it was ok.

It was a great show and a wonderful ride - one of the best serial dramas ever!

So how did it end? Did one of the Professor's crazy contraptions actually get them off the Island? And will they do a reunion show featuring the Harlem Globetrotters in 10 years?

Answering your question is virtually impossible if you haven't been regularly watching. But I think some of the music from the show could. So, here's a playlist:

"I Shall Not Walk Alone" - Blind Boys Of Alabama
"Make Your Own Kind Of Music" - Mama Cass
"Downtown" - Petula Clark
"Gouge Away" - The Pixies
"Ride Captain Ride" - Blues Image
"Catch A Falling Star" - Perry Como
"Shambala" - Three Dog Night

It is all crystal clear, right?
