Thanks everyone. I started out at 10:30a.m. with brunch at Dante's Kitchen. I had a Ginger Cosmo (they do their own ginger infused vodka which I think just means they throw some ginger in a bottle of vodka) before my food arrived and hubby had a Bloody Mary. He had steak and eggs with potatoes. I had the special which was shrimp with duck and white beans topped with 2 fried eggs and a green tomato chow-chow. It was delicious but I could only eat half of it.
I was feeling good, almost too good, from the cosmo so we stopped at a neighborhood place on the way home and played video poker and I had a bloody mary. I didn't win but had fun.
Went home and had a four hour nap. I woke up and am proud to say I did no work whatsoever on my birthday. Then I watched the Mad Men marathon on AMC and drank 5 Restoration Ales (I think).
Maybe that's why my head hurts today. :p
