I remember watching that years ago on TV but I can't remember what the event was. I didn't know who Paul Schaffer was and he gave me the creeps for some reason.

Hummm...last shot at end of clip of the guy in the blue shirt and guitar was Carl Perkins, Mr. Rockabilly himself!
Guarantee you one thing...he had on Blue Suede Shoes to match that shirt! Guaranteed!

Ron Wood. And Donald "Duck" Dunn on bass. Say what you will about Paul Shaffer, he has relatively little formal training, but can play anything. He was also a scream as the record promoter in "Spinal Tap". He's also quite likely one of few people these days who can pull together these kinds of music icons in one show, and is often called upon to serve as musical director on big all-star events. He did a Dave Clark Five/Zombies/Peter & Gordon reunion that was awesome. Google "Paul Shaffer and His British Invasion".
