do any of you attend these? i am a lifelong season ticket holder. i go to a pre-season game every 4 or 5 years. i just dont get the attraction. sure, i watch the whole thing on tv. but paying $30 to park, $7 for dome foam etc... to watch joey harrington get picked off by a guy who will be driving a ups truck in 2 weeks just is not my bag.

I don't care to attend, but I am good for watching the first quarter of the Saints games. I am just so ready for football that it gets my attention.

$30 to park? Are you in the VIP section at the dome? I park across Poydras around the medical centers for free. The street I usually park on takes me out to the foot of the interstate on ramp for an easy quick exit.

Pretty sure it is Bolivar St. between Perdido and Poydras.
Sometimes I actually park on Perdido.
This works good for when we visit friends that are tailgating on that side of the dome.

How early do you have to go to find a parking place there?

We park on the other side of the Dome under the overpasses (also free). Our seats are on that side, which makes it easier too.

I go to the preseason games. It's football season, dammit.

I go, more of a social gathering, & seeing the people that I have sat around for years.

I like to go to the first one or two, because I'm in dire need of a football fix by this time.
