Imagine that, and in New Orleans. Maybe we are really going to make some progress here.
Still hope I see the day they get the Morial clan.

"Corey "C-Murder" Miller was found guilty of second-degree murder Tuesday afternoon by a Jefferson Parish jury, and this time the verdict will stand."
"In May, he pleaded no contest to two counts of attempted second-degree murder in a Baton Rouge case under a plea deal."
I still hold hope for NOLA.

He was found guilty in Jefferson Parish court. Do you think there would have been a conviction in New Orleans? I hold hope, but this doesn't add to it. now if Mose gets convicted, then we'll have something to talk about.

Mose is being tried in Federal Court. I am confident he'll be convicted. Nonetheless, I am speaking at a panel on Thursday with Jim Letten. </shameless plug> I'll express your desire to have him found guilty.

I had to have some lab work drawn this afternoon and I was really surprised this afternoon to hear the reaction of the people of color at work. Even they said he deserved it and thank God it was Jefferson Parish because Orleans would have let him get away with it. Maybe the world isn't as bad as I thought.

At least C won't have to wear that stupid ankle monitor anymore!
Mose is going to take the stand. Fawer said tonight that Mose only gave Brooks-Simms the money to help out someone in need of financial help. Uh, Bam...tell Fawer she already pled guilty of accepting the bribe before Mose gets embarassed.
And please express my desire to find him guilty too. TIA!

The family is too funny. They just won't see that this guy is a thug. A punk. A piece of sh*t.
His nickname is not C-bitchslap, it's C-MURDER. I guess he fullfilled his nickname.
Seriously, this is not an isolated incident. He was found guilty of this crime twice and has anothe rmurder charge pending in Baton Rouge.
I wihs they would fry his ass. Jail for life is too good form him. His brother Percy is quite a bit smarter than poor Corey sh*t for brains (maybe that can be his nickname, or at least his mardi gras indian nickname), ignoring the whole thing (as to not get dragged inot it).
Yes, there are consequences for your actions.

No implication. I just like the whole indian name thing. Was just thinking out loud.

Hat's off to Judge Liljeberg. He handled this case very well.
