Anyone know who's footing the bill for Bill Clinton's round the globe flight on a large jet aircraft to pick up two idiots who were fooling around where they shouldn't be?

They worked for Al Gore....is HE getting the bill?

....I'm guessing NOT.

"Mr. Clinton and the journalists traveled on a private jet owned by Stephen Bing, a real estate heir and a major Democratic Party contributor, who donated the use of the jet as a favor, said Andy Meyers, the chief executive officer of Shangri-la Industries, which was founded by Mr. Bing."

and in the big picture, can you smell movie rights?

Missed in the fanfare over the return of the "journalists" is that the Obama administration is now negotiating with rogue nations. I cannot wait to see what goodie bag Klintoon and Obama delivered to the dictator.

"One analyst said that was exactly what the former president's visit was doing -- rewarding "bad behavior."

Clinton's arrival coincides with mounting speculation over succession in Asia's only communist dynasty. Several reports suggest that an increasingly frail-looking Kim Jong-il, 67, has settled on his third son to take over.

"It's just what they (North Korea's leaders) need," said B.R. Myers, an expert on the North's state ideology at the South's Dongseo University.

It allows the government to show to a domestic audience, facing deepening poverty, that the nuclear weapons program is making the outside world take it more seriously and the visit will be certain to be portrayed as tribute by the United States.

And it will confirm to North Korea that bad behavior will be rewarded further, Myers said. "It sends all the wrong signals."

The other thing lost that pisses me off is that the 'Toon apologized and the North Koreans issued a "pardon" to the women. All of which further gives Kim Jong Il an aura of legitimacy.

N. Korea had been trying to get Clinton there for 9 yrs.
Any photo opp to legitimize them. the little dic was all grins standing next to Clinton.

"The journalists' release followed weeks of quiet negotiations between the State Department and the North Korean mission to the United Nations, said Daniel Sneider, associate director of research at Stanford University's Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center.
Clinton "didn't go to negotiate this, he went to reap the fruits of the negotiation," Sneider said.
Pardoning Ling and Lee and having Clinton serving as their emissary served both North Korea's need to continue maintaining that the two women had committed a crime and the Obama administration's desire not to expend diplomatic capital winning their freedom, Sneider said. "

who's propaganda is it anyway?

Obama will be apologizing to Iran to get those 2 jokers who were "backpacking"??? There's going to be trouble.... perfect excuse to give israel the go-ahead to nuke Iran. I hate it.... but better them than US for a change.
