Am I the only one who doesn't get it? I mean no disrespect whatsoever... She's got a nice voice but I just don't see what all the fuss is about.

On their home turf, Simon and Piers are apparently sentimental slobs: total suckers for kids, regular Joes, opera, opera-singing kids, opera-singing regular Joes, and singers who remind them of their mums. I enjoyed the performance, nonetheless. (At least she wasn't pitchy, dawg.) Search "Paul Potts" on YouTube for further enlightenment on this notion.

Wow, I gotta admit, I was pretty shocked to hear that woman sing like that. I enjoyed it. What happens for her next on that show? It almost seems like she's was some professional opera singer that snuck her way in! Cool video, thanks for posting it.

Yes, I remember Paul Potts. I listened to him for days after he hit YouTube. And I don't even like opera. His voice was just stunning and such a constrast from his appearance & demeanor.

Perhaps. Let me put it this way . . . she's a Jane Doe.
And she's just accomplished her life long dream.
And was fantastic at it. She knocked everyone's socks off.
Blew 'em away.
It's all about the human spirit. Gotta love it.
Paul Potts was damn good as well, but it was little Connie Talbot
that captured me in that round.

And then came Shaheen. Watch what happens after Simon stops him short.
