I've got a friend coming down from NYC and he's looking to spit roast a whole pig while in town (isn't everyone?) Anyway, any suggestions where I might be able to get one or how to build one or borrow???
Thanks,
D'Kitty

I don't really know who sells rotisserie equipment here in town, but here's a cool website with instructions on cooking a cochon du lait in the traditional, spread-out style: http://generalhorticulture.tamu.edu/prof/Recipes/Cochon/cochon.html

Thanks hungryone. I sent this link to my friend. He said he found the images "religious." Cochon du lait can certainly have that effect!

If you know someone in the Men's/Dad's Club at St. Edward school, they would probably have what you need. They do the Cochon du lait every year as a fund raiser.
